DALLAS, TX April 2012 – Jennifer Freeman MD chairs COFK Professional Advisory Board comprised of professionals in Pediatric throughout the US. Dr. Freeman works closely with the Executive Management Team of the Company. Dr. Freeman is a Texas native having completed her undergraduate work in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Texas – Austin and her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Jennifer Freeman MD joined Care Options for Kids in an exclusive independent contracting role as Medical Advisor and Chair of the Professional Advisory Board comprised of professionals in Pediatric throughout the US. Dr. Freeman works closely with the Executive Management Team of the Company.

Dr. Freeman is a Texas native having completed her undergraduate work in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Texas – Austin and her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Since 2008, Dr. Freeman has worked as a General Surgery Intern and Resident as well as performed Resident services in Basic Science Research at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Freeman is focusing on her specialty in Pediatrics as a NIH Organogenesis Fellow at the University of Michigan based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is a co-author and contributor to pending groundbreaking research and has been a frequent presenter in a number of professional health related environments as well as a contributing author in a variety of medical articles and publications.

Dr. Freeman’s primary role is to:

  • Provide research and information on the support of pediatric therapy services.
  • Provide medical direction on aspects of therapy.
  • Provide quality medical dialogue with MCO’s medical director’s.
  • Coordinate the regarding COFK’s Medical Practices Policy.
  • Publish/Quantify Medical Positions on developmental trends in Pediatric Therapy.
